5. flio
Flio has 5,000 airports on it's app, and provides you with information regarding your flight - status, gate change, boarding time, and baggage claim. Huge perk with the app is that if your flight is delayed or cancelled, it will advise you whether or not you're entitled to compensation. Flio can also navigate you through an airport so much easier. It shows you where lounges, restaurants, showers, and smoking rooms are. You can see all of that on an interactive map.

7. GOOGLE MAPS
Google Maps allows you to offline download maps, which is the number one reason we use this app because we don't always have Data or WiFi. They've also introduced new features on the app, when looking up directions, a ride-hailing component, so you can see how much Grab/Uber costs, or even Tuk-Tuks in India! While also using directions they've got an option for Motorbikes which takes you down roads that vehicles cannot fit through, or even walking directions that neither vehicle or motorbike can go down.

8. Google translate
Google Translate allows you to offline download the language of your choice. You can save certain phrases like, 'hello', and 'thank you'. Not only will it write it out for you in whichever language you choose, but they've also got an audio feature so you can hear how it's supposed to sound. When you're on data or WiFi, there's also another feature that allows you to take a photo of a sign, and it will translate for you, or even a conversation feature, if you can communicate how to use it.

9. grab
Grab has now purchased Uber so they're one in the same basically. Both only work on Data or WiFi, so ensure you book your ride first before exiting whichever location you're in to catch your ride. With pre-arranged fares, it takes away the headache from haggling with drivers to either a) get the price down or b) turn the meter on, and avoids the scams.
