If you're at your hotel, trying to figure out how to get to a tourist attraction, it shows in great detail, how you can save money and use public transport. It shows where the bus stops and train stations are, and the time they arrive. It also tells you how long the trip will take, and how much it will cost. If you use it on the app instead of the website, you do need Data or WiFi to use the app, however, you can offline download your routes for the day before leaving your hotel!
