AIRBNB is great because it's like a home away from home - 99% of the time they've got a kitchen for you to cook your own food, which is something we love. You can stay in condos, bungalows, or castles, the world is your oyster on their website!

Booking is our go-to site - they always have the best rates, and a wide-range of filters to choose from. Our favourite filters are, 'No Pre-payment', 'Free Cancellation', 'Private Room', 'Air Conditioning', and 'Breakfast Included', and then we sort results by 'Lowest Price First'.

Booking.com includes not only hotels, but homestays, apartments, resorts and hostels as well.

When deciding between a few places, we always read the reviews first, and sort results by 'Date (Newer to Older)'.

An amazing bonus about using Booking.com for all of your accommodations, it that once you use it enough, and leave reviews for each property you stay at, you will become what's called a 'Genius Member'. As a 'Genius Member', you have the ability to see 'secret properties' that other members cannot see. A lot of the times you'll also receive 10% the final booking. Not only that, but many properties offer free breakfast to Genius Members.
