process
Upon arrival in the Philippines, you will receive a free 30 day visa at the airport. Since you're reading this blog post, we take it you'd like to stay longer than that. In order to extend your Philippines Visa, you must visit an Immigration Office before your visa expires. We would recommend heading to the office one (business) week prior.
Luckily, it only takes one visit to the office, the process is quite simple - you go up to one counter, with the completed form, photo, and passport. Then you'll wait a short while, and wait for your name to be called, once called, you'll go to the cashier counter, where you'll pay 3130PHP for a 29 Day Visa. You'll then be given a receipt, and have to wait another short while. They'll then call your name again, and you can go collect your stamped passport (so long as you have the receipt), and stay in the Philippines longer, yay!
Duration: 2-3 Hours Approx.
